ABOUT

Julia Warr is a visual artist living between London and New York.

 

Warr graduated in BA Visual Arts from Goldsmiths College with the Bursars Prize in 1999. She has exhibited widely with solo shows in Cologne, Milan, Amsterdam, Geneva, Valencia and London. Her work has been reviewed in Art Forum, The Independent, and Contemporary Magazine.

 

She stepped back in 2006 to raise her children. Her practice continued and she was selected for the John Moores Painting Prize in 2016 and curated the painting show ‘Julie’s Bob’ in 2021 for Terrace Gallery, London.

 

She was mentored by Turps Art School 2019-21 and included in art collections for Goldsmiths College, University of London, British Airways, and the Council of Justice, Den Haag and ABN AMRO Art Foundation, Holland.

 

Julia Warr's "Family Time" is currently at The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Show 2025.
